Blowing out candles can be messy, resulting in excessive smoke (feeding the now-smoldering wick with oxygen) and sprayed wax (from the blast of air). Smothering a candle by putting the lid on can be problematic too, especially if the lid has a liner that might melt. Using a candle wick dipper is a great solution, and it's the preferred method for snuffing a candle. A wick dipper is used to gently bend the wick into the melted pool of wax (to extinguish it) and then straighten it back out again for the next use. The fresh coat of wax on the wick makes it easier to light the next time too!
Our candle wick dippers are 8" inches in length and made from sturdy stainless steel with a durable polished black finish. They're easy to clean and the simple black design fits into any home decor or aesthetic. Can be used with all kinds of candles, including jar candles, votives, and pillars.
